School Development Plan
The School Development Plan is created by Senior Leaders who have analysed previous performance and monitored areas of the curriculum. Together with staff, pupils and governors, areas for development have been identified. We strive to provide the best education possible for the children of Freeland and the SDP allows us to carefully plan areas for development.
In 2023-2024 there are three main priority areas:
-
To develop the teaching and cultural capital in the arts subjects for all children. (Art/DT/Music)
-
For more children to reach age related expectations and greater depth in writing across the school.
-
To develop opportunities for spirituality for children and adults.
-
To develop the role of subject leaders so they can monitor teaching and learning, support staff in their subject and provide CPD to improve teaching across the school.
