PSHE/RSE

Physical, Social, Health and Citizenship Education at Freeland CE Primary School is delivered through the Jigsaw scheme of work and is taught on a weekly basis. Each session begins with a ‘Calm Me’ introduction, where calming images, breathing techniques and a chime are used to get the pupils ready to listen, think and share their ideas sensibly and respectfully.

Each year group’s Jigsaw scheme is made up of 6 ‘jigsaw pieces’ that are taught through the year:
